Blacksmith's Cottage - Obsidian Art Test
This was an art test I did for Obsidian Entertainment. The screen‐shots shown art taken from UDK's and 3DS Max's view‐ports. All textures were created in Photoshop, modeling done in 3DS Max, Materials and lighting in Unreal Development Kit.
Obsidian art test parameters:
· The geometry must be modeled and textured to match the concept.
· Color and lighting must be based on a night‐time setting
· The geometry must not exceed 12,000 triangles for the building.
· The textures must not exceed four 512 texture sets.
· Each texture set must include a color, specular, and normal map. Ambient occlusion will be baked into the color map.
